I seek to explore humanity as I perceive it, from inside out. The body and the mind, and the relations between the two.
I research, understand, destroy, and recreate in an effort to gain and manipulate "knowledge".
Science and spirituality, language and emotion, and the sacred and profane. These are just some of the relationships I use to explore why I am here and what it means to exist in my human body and mind.
I create worlds and destroy them so that I can understand my own creation and inevitable death.
I work in printmaking, illustration, collage, photography, and sculpture and in these various mediums marry analog and digital in order to create my visual language.
Through mirroring the way that my human mind works, I show the beauty, the gaps, the misunderstandings, and the longing for answers.
I ask questions through visual manipulations.
